::Jobs:: The University of Turin invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher (“assegnista di ricerca”) in the field of logic and philosophy of science. The position is for a period of 18 months (12 + default extension of 6). The successful candidate will work in the PRIN project Logic and Cognition: Theory, Experiments, and Applications. The default starting date is 1 May 2021, but starting sooner or later can be mutually agreed. The deadline for applications will be 22 February 2021 at 13:00 Central European Time. :: Calls :: The annual Legal Philosophy Workshop (LPW) invites you to participate in the 8^th LPW headed online over 3 weeks in June and July 2021. LPW is an annual pre-read workshop designed to foster reflection on the nature of law and the philosophical issues underlying its different areas. The aim is to promote work that connects legal philosophy with other branches of philosophy (e.g., moral and political philosophy, metaphysics, philosophy of language, epistemology, or philosophy of action) and to create a venue for the critical examination of different viewpoints about law.
