:: Calls :: The annual Legal Philosophy Workshop (LPW) invites you to participate in the 8th LPW headed online over 3 weeks in June and July 2021. LPW is an annual pre-read workshop designed to foster reflection on the nature of law and the philosophical issues underlying its different areas. The aim is to promote work that connects legal philosophy with other branches of philosophy (e.g., moral and political philosophy, metaphysics, philosophy of language, epistemology, or philosophy of action) and to create a venue for the critical examination of different viewpoints about law. LPW invites you to submit an abstract or to volunteer to comment. Please ensure that the abstract isanonymised and that it does not exceed 1,000 words. This is also a call for commenters. The deadline for volunteering to comment and submitting your abstract is January 25, 2021. You can sign up to be on the mailing list, volunteer to comment, and submit an abstract by filling out this form.
