The appointee will be expected to play a leading role in developing a programme of funded research through building links with other faculties within the College as well as through national and international research links and networks. Facilitated by a number of world-renowned research centres and educational programmes, faculty members of The Dickson Poon School of Law are leaders in innovative, border-crossing scholarship. Applications from scholars in a wide range of legal fields of expertise with an orientation towards comparative/transnational as well as interdisciplinary work are especially welcome.
The Research Professor in Law will exercise world-class academic leadership in large-scale grant-funded research as well as contributing to teaching in the Dickson Poon School of Law.
The appointment will be made at Professorial level, dependent on relevant qualifications and experience, within the Professorial Grade, following negotiation. The minimum salary will be a minimum of £65,000 plus £2,323 London Allowance per annum, however the successful candidate will be offered a salary commensurate with experience.
