The 2nd Philawson Workshop, “Contemporary Views on Social Ontology and Philosophy of Law”, will take place on 26–27 November 2026 at Centro Cultural La Corrala – Universidad Autónoma de Madrid(Madrid, Spain).
The keynote speakers will be Åsa Burman, presenting “Institutional Rights, Human Rights, and Natural Rights”, and Kenneth Ehrenberg, presenting “Imperfect Law”.
The programme will also feature contributions from Alba Lojo, Andrea Loi, Andrei Marmor, Anita de Franco, Corrado Roversi, Maribel Narváez, Masato Yoshihara, Naiara Hermogenes, Miguel Garcia-Godinez, Olimpia Loddo, Rodrigo Parra, Samuele Chilovi, Virginia Presi, and Vittorio Catalano.
The organizing committee comprises Sebastián Figueroa Rubio and Matilde Rey Aramendía, and the scientific committee comprises Alba Lojo and Giulia Lasagni. The workshop is funded by the International Social Ontology Society and EcoGentium.
