:: Calls :: The 2016 Humboldt Normativity Conference will take place between 27 – 29 June 2016 at the Humboldt University in Berlin. Keynote speakers are John Broome (Oxford) and Michael Smith (Princeton). Deadline for submitting abstracts: Feb. 15.humboldt-university-of-berlin

This conference will bring together philosophers working on normativity. The organizers invite submissions on foundational problems of moral philosophy, on practical normativity more general, on reasons and rationality, and on epistemic and other forms of normativity. Their primary aim is to provide a forum for lively and constructive exchange amongst philosophers currently working in the field. Over and above the two keynote talks, there are eight slots for contributed papers. Please submit an abstract (800-1500 words, prepared for blind review) until 15 February 2016 as a pdf file to normativity2016@hu-berlin.de. Papers should be suitable for a 30 minutes presentation.

Organizers: Jan Gertken, Benjamin Kiesewetter, Thomas Schmidt, Department of Philosophy, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

(This is envisaged to be the first of a series of annual conferences held at HU Berlin and at the University of Southampton.)
