On the 15th of April at 11:30 the Tarello Institute will host a Joint Seminar of TILPh members Riccardo Guastini and Natalia Scavuzzo on Legal Theory.

The following matters shall be discussed:

i) the thesis of the plurality of Basic Norms and the relation between Basic Norm, Legal Science and Legal Policy.

ii) the description of norms and of Law (meaning “how is a legal norm described?” and “how is a legal order described?”)

iii) the internal point of view (descriptive or prescriptive?) and the many conceptions of the rule of recognition.
