:: Calls :: The EUI will host an international legal philosophy workshop on legal reasoning and argumentation, with a focus on the topic of reason-giving in law. If interested in taking part, submit any relevant abstract (800 words) for blind review to Luís Duarte d’Almeida (University of Edinburgh) by February 27, 2017.
The format of the workshop will be pre-read. Each session will start with a short presentation by the author, followed by extensive Q&A. Draft papers will be due for circulation by April 10th, 2017. Organised by Luís Duarte d’Almeida (University of Edinburgh), Euan MacDonald (University of Edinburgh) and Giovanni Sartor (EUI, Florence); sponsored by the Edinburgh Law School, the EUI Department of Law, and the Foundations of Normativity Project at the University of Edinburgh.
